10 month letter

Miss Ria,

Its’ now only 8 weeks until your 1st birthday, Mummy & Daddy had better start the planning! You’re in the double digits now at 10 months old, what a big girl you are.

You’re saying a lot more these days. Some new words are Button, Nanna and Baby. You say Nanna all the time and its’ very sweet. Your hair is growing so fast, your little piggy tails are starting to fan out instead of sticking straight up. Its also getting tiny little ringlet curls at the back.

We had your 9 month portraits done and they turned out lovely, I think they are my favorite of you yet. You were a little shy but as the assistant pointed out, you never cry when you’re out.

Mummy and Daddy spoiled you rotten with a whole new bunch of toys to keep you amused. You’re such a busy bee that you’ve gotten a little sick of the toys that you already had. You got a Fisher Price learning home and a ride on & walker but you haven’t quite gotten the hang of those yet. We picked out a lot of little accessories for you too like books and blocks, you’re having a great time.

Dadima, Dadaji and Rahul Kaka went away for a week so you and I had a lot of time together. You were such a good girl, and you’ve started sleeping better *fingers crossed* I even managed to get you to hug your snoodle that Great Nan & Pop gave you, and break you out of the swaddle. I tried to give you a care bear but you would have none of that, its snoodle bear all the way with you!

You can stand for longer on your own now, especially if you’re very distracted. I don’t think you’re going to be walking anytime soon and we kind of like it that way since you’re already zooming around the house on all fours.

I wish I had more to say, but we have had such a busy month with Daddy being sick with fevers that we haven’t really done a lot.

We love you so much Ria,
Love Mummy.
