7 month letter

Little Munchkin,
This passed month, a whole new world was opened up to you…the world of food! Your first food was Banana, which I mentioned in last month’s letter. Since then you have tried Sweet Potato, Applesauce, Pear, Green Beans, Peas, Watermelon and Yogurt! You’re very protective over your fresh food feeder and love to bash your spoon around on the tray. Your favorites are Pear, Sweet Potato and Watermelon and your least favorite was definitely yogurt. We met a nice man at one of the restaurants here and he is going to specially order you in some Yellow Squash to try!
You melted your Daddy’s heart by saying “dad”! Daddy was at work and you were nice enough to say it again when he was on the phone
You’re starting to associate Mum and Dad with us well now. You babble a lot of funny words and when Baa says Bababa to you, you’ll often say it back.
Your very first Easter was celebrated on the 16th . You weren’t in the best of moods but we went out to lunch with you. You got a big pink Easter egg with your name on it, a squishy purple basket and a Learning Table. You love to spin the Alphabet Soup in the middle and play with the spoon.
We bought your first ever “real” shoes as well, a funky pair of Reebok Sweets. You have quite the collection of shoes now which is great because you want to stand all over the place, with assistance still.
You learned to pull yourself up on the 22nd and you’ve been trying to do it with different objects ever since. You have put yourself back into a sitting position one time when you were crawling and have attempted it again a few more times but you haven’t succeeded.
Mummy & Daddy’s 2 year anniversary was on the 24th. We took you to lunch and then to the Science Museum which you thought was a laugh, and out to dinner. You love to be the life of the party and its so funny watching you suck everyone in with your cheeky smiles and little antics. You’re going to be quite the entertainer when you grow up.
Speaking of entertainment, you love to shake your hands up and down and wiggle your little butt sometimes. We first secretly saw you doing it to a commercial and now when we hold your hands you like to do a little break dance.
You slept through an entire night for the first time last night! THANK YOU RIA! You went to bed at 8:30pm and didn’t make a peep until 6:30am. Of course mummy isn’t fickle enough to believe that this will happen again anytime soon, but I know you can do it.
Happy 7 months Ria!
Love always,
Mummy.
