6 months!

Happy 6 months Ria!
Can you believe you’re half a year old? We must be doing something right!
So, we finally got our wish for the month, it was kind of slow and its been nice spending some quiet time with you.
On the 1st of March it was your Dadaji, Uncle Rupen & Neo’s birthday. We all went out for dinner and like clockwork, you woke up in amazement before the food arrived. I think you would have enjoyed yourself a little more if you could have had some cake. All in due time.
Later on in the month, we started giving you some cereal in the mornings. You, Daddy and I all go down stairs and have a family breakfast. Its nice to have some time with Daddy before he goes to work and your cereal is really yummy! Mummy also started teaching you baby signs. You get so excited when you see the sign for Milk, and you nearly waved hello yesterday.
You started reaching out to us more to be picked up, and you started sitting all by yourself for minutes at a time. You’re now crawling face up and motoring all over the place, the only problem is that the floors are too hard so you’re a bit limited to where you can test it all out.
You also figured out how to use your Ocean Wonders aquarium in your crib. Its a bit hard for you at the moment because its so high up but you did it! And now that you have your two little teeth, you love to brush them all by yourself.
I’m also happy to report that you say ‘Mum’ now without crying. Its nice to know you care about me when you’re happy too
This morning we tried you on your first real solid food. We thought it would be a great treat for you since you’ve been waiting so long, but you didn’t seem impressed by it at all! Mummy doesn’t like bananas either, maybe you’ll like sweet potato better?

I hope the next 6 months will bring as much joy and as many smiles as these past 6 have for us. We’re so proud of the little person that you’ve become, and I’ve said it before but it still holds very true, you grow more beautiful by the day and we’re constantly amazed by you.
Love Mummy
